If you're wondering how Martha's Rule has shifted care in the NHS here is the NHS' own account of the escalation & outcomes.
While about three fifths of escalation requests do not end up identifying any deterioration in care, around two fifths (40%) *do*!
While on one level this is a low proportion of all NHS treatments, for the patients & families involved this looks life saving!
