as digital sovereignty is your goal, one I wholeheartedly support, and since you are presenting arguments against US control (and oversight?) I suggest you wade into the BillC-22 problem.
Digital sovereignty is meaningless if citizens and political accounts have no Right to Privacy.
If you live in Canada and care about privacy, this is the time to act... while you still have privacy.
