1) Are there additional topics that we should add to our Email Templates? Send us your ideas.
2) Have you successfully convinced a politician to join #Mastodon ? Congrats - and make sure that you notify us by providing their name and account details. We will ask our community to welcome them and give them a positive impression of Mastodon.
A gentle reminder that a little effort in reaching out to a local elected representative could result in someone cute and cuddly joining your family. Our #ProselytizingforPlushtodons campaign has the objective of convincing Canadian politicians to join the Mastodon community and rewarding you with a #Plushtodon and some informative reading material. Today is a good day to begin your outreach campaign targeting the elected representatives in your area. Decide if you want to be aggressive and contact all 3 - Federal, Provincial and Municipal - or pick one to get started. Step #1 is finding the contact info for your representatives.
Federal is easy - simply visit the URL provided and search by MP name, constituency or postal code. Follow the link to get their contact info.
