The guy who had 288 million dollars to burn on getting Trump elected, did so because he thought people who receive healthcare benefits, unemployment benefits, etc., got so much, it had to be "waste, fraud, and abuse" and should be eliminated.
On Fox in 2025 he said:
"The waste and fraud in entitlement spending — which is most of the federal spending — is entitlements, so that’s like the big one to eliminate. That’s the sort of half trillion, maybe 6 or 700 billion a year.”
