I don't completely agree with the text on this website: It is clear for us e/OS/ user what microG is, and we actually need it for certain apps like e-banking etc. The main advantage of e/OS/ ist the prevention of tracking.
If you really want to refrain from Gougle as such, you need an OS like #ubports (ubuntu touch,) #postmarket , #mobian or #sailfish may-be #IodeOS
