i've been using and loving e/OS for 2 years, and I begruggingly keep a google account for GMaps and the store. I have focused on using FOSS apps, and they've been more usable than ever.
When borrowing some other phones, I feel overwhelmed by adds, nudging, restrictive and invasive designs, and sight in relief when coming back to my own phone. It's liberating.
I'm worried about the change in android third party apps policy, and I wonder how Murena will navigate this issue if f-droid disapears. Maybe your app store is the solution you're planning?

Meanwhile, I'm boosting about initiatives like #diday and the importance of using #foss . Is there anyone making advertising videos for FOSS? @_elena wouldn't you like to make _more_ short videos I can counter boost to that commercial entropy? 😁
The new "Mythos" #AI algorithm from #Anthropic can easily find vulnerabilities in any code it has access to—something a #human is incapable of doing. Does this spell the end of the #OpenSource movement? In the face of the danger posed by AI, are we forced to return to proprietary #software that does not disclose its source code?
